Data Sovereignty

Data Sovereignty is the idea that data is subject to the laws and governance structures from where it’s collected.

To honor this idea and deterministically guarantee its adherence, we have designed our Network Topology around this concept. We have introduced a network type called a Jurisdiction Area Network (JAN), as opposed to a Wide Area Network (WAN) or a Local Area Network (LAN).
